Hebrides Mountain Rescue Team is made up entirely of volunteers. We rely on all our team members to give up their own time to attend both training and callouts.
This is a huge commitment, but in return offers something back to the community and provides a great deal of satisfaction.
Our area covers the very periphery of the UK, often experiencing high wind speeds. During these conditions the team maybe be asked to assist in an incident.
Have you got what it takes?
The team are looking for enthusiastic and fit individuals with an interest in the outdoors. Mountaineering experience is not necessarily required. Other personal requirements are you must be keen to learn new skills, be a team player and be willing to respond to callouts, at any time, and whatever the weather.
